What Materials Can I Donate?

You can donate reusable building materials and items such as windows, doors, paint, hardware, lumber, tools, lighting fixtures, household furniture, appliances and even the kitchen sink! Donations are accepted at the ReStore during regular operating hours (9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m Monday to Friday and 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m Saturday/Sunday), so instead of throwing your old tools and materials into the garbage, call the ReStore to find out if your materials can be used somewhere else! If you are unable to drop off your donations, we can arrange to pick them up directly from your home free of charge (subject to some exceptions).

Tax receipts are issued for donations with a resell value over $25.

Retailers and manufacturers can donate end-of-line, scratch-and-dent, discontinued inventory, paint mis-tint and customer returns to the ReStore and avoid the cost of returning them to the manufacturer or disposing of them otherwise. Receipt of goods are issued for all corporate donations so you can track inventory as necessary.
