Habitat for Humanity ReStores are building supply stores that accept and resell quality new and used building materials, furniture, appliances, and household items. They generate funds to support Habitat’s building programs, while reducing the amount of used materials that are headed for overflowing landfills! They are an environmentally friendly store that makes sense.

What can I expect to find?

You can expect things like: windows, doors, paint, hardware, lumber, tools, lighting fixtures and even the kitchen sink! Items are donated daily so each trip will bring you something new! For the do-it-yourselfer, the ReStore is the first place to visit for inexpensive renovations.

What materials can I donate?

You can donate reusable building materials such as the items listed above. You can also donate furniture (free of rips, stains, and tears) as well as appliances in good working order. Donations are accepted at the ReStore during regular operating hours, so instead of throwing your old tools and materials in the garbage, call the ReStore to find out if your materials can be used somewhere else! If you are unable to fit larger items into your car or truck, the ReStore will arrange a time to come and pick the items up directly from your home, free of charge.

Please note, the Restore does not accept open paint and chemicals. These items must be disposed of through household hazardous waste facilities.

Retailers and manufacturers can donate end-of-line, scratch-and-dent, discontinued inventory, mis-tinted paints and customer returns to the ReStore and avoid the cost of returning them to the manufacturer or disposing of them otherwise. Receipt of goods are issued for all corporate donations so you can track inventory as necessary.

Please do not leave donated goods at the ReStore when it is closed.

Tax receipts are issued for donations upon request.

Desktop computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, telephones, answering machines, televisions, home theatre systems, radios, cameras, camcorders, cell phones and pagers and more!

Electronic Waste items are recycled and raise much needed funds for Habitat for Humanity Cornwall & The Counties

E-Waste can be dropped off during regular business hours. Please note, individuals dropping off E-Waste will be required to complete a donation form.
